Middle School Facility Orientation
Middle School Teens with Alexander YMCA or Triangle YMCA membership, Grades 6 - 8
Meet in the Lobby

Designed to acclimate middle school teens to the Y, this program covers the basics. After this orientation, teens will receive their membership card and be certified to use the gym, pool, indoor track, racquetball courts, and the coed workout area with parental supervision. More...


Registration: Register at the Welcome Center. Registration closes 24 hours before each orientation.

Middle School Get Active Orientation
Middle School Teens, Grade 6 - 8

Designed to give middle school youth an overall orientation to the YMCA, this orientation covers the basics of strength training, cardiovascular exercise and flexibility. Upon completion youths are allowed in the coed workout area without parental supervision. Please dress appropriately.

ENERGIZE!
Ages 6 - 18 with a risk of developing diabetes
Various community locations

ENERGIZE! is a 12-week program that teaches kids to lead active, healthy lives as they enjoy fun filled activities.

Children should be screend by their physician for prediabetes if they are overweight, have high blood pressure, or a family history fo type 2 diabetes. Talk with your physician to find out if your child is at risk. Take this ENERGIZE! Referral Form to your child's next doctor visit.
