Y Learning Tutor
Combs, Hunter, Stough, and Wiley Elementary schools
St. Augustine's College - serving middle school students

Y Learning, our afterschool tutoring program, provides a safe, encouraging environment for at-risk students to learn.

Through creative activities and guided homework sessions, help a child develop the skills they need to succeed in school and ultimately to succeed in life. Tutors meet with students during after school hours (3:00 - 6:00 p.m.) on a pre-determined schedule. Volunteers usually work one-on-one or in very small groups with children to improve basic math and reading skills while building an encouraging relationship with the student.
