Set on 150 rolling, wooded acres outside of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Camp Kanata offers an exciting camp experience for kids from 6 to 15.

Kanata combines an array of opportunities for skill development and an emphasis on character growth with a mighty mix of fun and adventure – and then wraps it all up in a safe, protective environment that both kids and parents can feel good about.

Camp Sea Gull & Camp Seafarer

Camp Sea Gull for boys & Camp Seafarer for girls offer kids a place to make decisions on their own, to challenge themselves and succeed in the process. Here, kids have the freedom and space to try, and try again until they accomplish their goals.

Our focus is seamanship. Our unique North Carolina coastal location offers open spaces, fresh air, and long piers where wind is always blowing.

When campers learn how to navigate wide, open water on our extensive fleet of boats, they learn that competence builds not only confidence but also character along the way.
